Next up… Few more hours into Borderlands and it’ll be done. That requires coordination with friends though. Almost beaten VVVVV.
yesterday ruled for so many reasons.
despite being pretty much the hottest day of the year, I worked 8 hours in the Help Center with AC… Had class significantly shortened because of the heat… and then went to the New Media department cookout on some amazing lake and swam and kyaked and jumped off this super tall thing and water slided and all sorts of crazy cool stuff.
And fancy cheese and bread.
And edible flowers.
It was fun seeing eddie again too. He’s probably cohosting Skrambo with me tomorrow!
Hello hump day.
I don’t think I’m going to find a way to the cap’n jazz show in DC in 10 days.
Possibly the worst day yet to be wandering around empty, yet somehow still stinky, dorm rooms. Plugging in the jack tester, reporting back and forth to where it maps out on the BDF switch, and moving on. Again and again.
IT’S JUST SO HOT.
The temperature is a high of 85… but it’s humid as well.
We purchased new curtains at Sears yesterday, Brit and I, ones that are specially made for blocking out light to help keep the apartment cool. They’re heavy and made of suede. Besides, it turns the apartment into a cave… which rules.
The day we spent in Bangor was a nice one indeed. Minus the wild goose chase for Chinese food, but the super awkward waiter totally made up for it.
After today… The next three days off. I will never get used to waking up at 730… I cannot wait to sleep in!
I’m slowly being migrated back to the IT Help Center after being one of the consultants for the computer clusters for quite some time. I worked in the help center last summer after getting moved out of the IT Repair devision. When school started up this year, they moved me to the clusters to fill a vacancy.
What does that say about me? Must be that I’m versatile. It’s a different job in the help center more social, and more of a job per se. Regardless, I’m ecstatic to have has 40 hours two weeks in a row.
It’s too damn hot out. I’m going to sit in front of the fan, drink some iced tea, and watch some more star trek tng… Already half way done the series! By then the new season of Dexter and IT Crowd should be out.
